Sales Payouts: Essential Information
At Love and Peace for All, we utilize Stripe to manage payments from in-store sales and distribute earnings to artisans. Upon registration, artisans receive a link to create a Stripe account and add their bank details. We process payouts twice a month, transferring your sales earnings directly to your bank account via Stripe.
Payout Schedule
Sales payouts are issued according to a regular schedule based on the sales period. There is a two-week delay after each sales period to accommodate any potential customer returns or exchanges.
Sales Period | Payout Date |
---|---|
1st - 15th of the Month | 1st of the Following Month |
16th - End of the Month | 16th of the Following Month |
Why the Delay?
The two-week buffer ensures that we can process returns or exchanges, allowing for accurate, final payouts that prevent any discrepancies.
Processing Time
Once your payout is initiated, it typically takes 2-4 business days for the funds to reach your bank account, depending on your bank’s processing times.
Weekend and Holiday Adjustments
If the 1st or 16th falls on a weekend or holiday, payouts will be processed on the next business day.
Accessing Your Payout Details
To view your payout details:
- Log in to your Stripe account.
- Navigate to the "Payouts" tab.
- Review your transaction details, including payout dates, amounts, and any fees.
You will also receive a summary email on the day your payout is transferred.
Common Payout Issues and Solutions
Here are some common reasons for payout delays, and how to avoid them:
-
Incorrect Bank Details: Ensure that your bank account information (transit number, institution number, and account number) is correct in Stripe. Note: We can only transfer funds to a bank account, not a debit or credit card.
-
Incomplete Stripe Setup: Make sure your Stripe account is fully set up. Stripe will notify you if additional verification is needed.
-
Outstanding Membership Fees: Ensure that all membership fees, including deposits, are current. Payouts will be held until all fees are paid, and missed payouts will be included in the next scheduled payment.
-
Payout Notifications: If you’re not receiving email notifications, check your spam or junk folder.

Love and Peace for All:
Labeling, Coding + Pricing Your Products
Love and Peace for All requires that all products in our retail stores be labeled according to a specific coding system. The key element of your product label is the SKU, which is used by retail cashiers to locate your products at checkout. The clearer and more accurate your labels, the smoother the transaction!
All product labels must include a unique SKU, and this SKU should match one of your inventory listings in Market.
- SKUs can remain the same for similar products with multiple variants, as long as the price is identical. For example, small medium or large TREE be labeled as SB123-STREE. so long as your unique code is first.
General Label Guidelines:
- All products entering the store must be tagged using the correct label format.
- Handwritten labels are not allowed.
- Products must be labeled before entering the store—labeling inside the store or backrooms is prohibited.
- Products with incorrect labels will not be sold.
How to Create Your Product SKUs:
Your SKU code consists of two components:
- Vendor Code & Product Code.
Adding Your SKU in MVPOS:
Ensure that the SKU on your product label matches the Item Number/SKU field in your inventory listing in MVPOS.
Leave the barcode field empty. For additional guidance on adding product listings to Marketplace, please see [instructions].
Pricing Your Products:
Selling Price: Prices must be simple and rounded (e.g., $20 or $20.00 – not $22.22 or $22.99). Each product must display a price, and prices should follow these guidelines:
-
Whole numbers only are allowed.
-
Taxes may only be included in the price if you are a registered business with an HST number.
For Registered Businesses:
- Prices must include all applicable taxes.
- Products or signage should not indicate that taxes are included, as this can confuse customers, especially with the store’s 13% service fee.
Service Fee Information:
Love and Peace for All adds a 13% service fee to all sales, which is paid by the customer and does not affect your payouts. For more details, read here: [Service Fee Information].
Regulated Label Information:
All products must comply with Canadian labeling laws. This includes providing information such as ingredients, best before dates, and materials that may cause allergies. Products in categories like food, cosmetics, tableware, jewelry, textiles, and clothing must adhere to these regulations. Please be diligent in understanding your legal obligations as a small business owner.
How to Run an In-Store Sale or Promotion:
Members of Love and Peace for All are welcome to run promotions within their designated spaces, following these guidelines:
- Clearly communicate your promotion to customers through secure signage within your space. Handwritten signs are not allowed.
- Inform the appropriate store manager via email about the promotion.
- Each item must be labeled with the promotion details (e.g., 10% off, buy 2 save $20) so staff can apply discounts at checkout without needing to refer back to your display.
